Feb- 2019

This month hasn’t been so crazy for me, I haven’t been shopping that much (which is a good thing for my bank account, but not so good for my blog). But, this month I’ve been so keen on my skincare, and trying to improve my skin again. I’ve been lazy the past few months in terms of being active in my skincare routines, and treating my skin the way it deserves. So, here are my current favourite skincare products for the month of February: –

  • Elemis- Cellular Recovery Skin Bliss Capsules

I’ve received this product after a facial and back massage treatment in a spa earlier this month, and I’ve used the ‘oil dropper’ capsules every day and night. I like how it is an exact measurement the cover a thin layer all over your face, it feels so nice and hydrating to the skin. I wasn’t a huge fan of the scent, it had a weird smell to it, but with time I just got used to it. It definitely hydrated my skin throughout the day, and throughout the night, and I’ve really looked forward coming back from a long day to opening the capsule. So, although it has been my favourite this month, I am more likely to go back to The Body Shop Vitamin E Serum (my all time fave).

  • Mario Badesco- Elasto-Collagen Night Cream

This is one of my favourite products for a night time routine, I am so annoyed that I’ve discovered this product so late it life! But I’m glad we have met, and I am not leaving it anytime soon! Ok, I know it might sound dramatic, but I really love this product. The consistency is a big thicker than the normal face cream, but this night cream is honestly one of the best I’ve ever tried. I highly (highly!) recommend it!

  • The Body Shop- Ethiopian Honey Deep Nourishing Mask

I’ve used this mask twice a week in the morning before starting my day, and it feels very refreshing and hydrating, a perfect energy booster for the day. The one annoying thing regarding this product is how sticky it feels when you come to remove it, but the mask feels so energizing and refreshing that I ignore that ‘annoying’ feeling.

  • Precision Beauty- Tea Tree Pore Strips

Since my spa visit earlier this month, the beauty therapist who gave me the facial noticed a lot of black heads around my nose area. So, I’ve decided to go back to using a nose strip, which I used to use multiple times a year ago when the whole charcoal phase was trending on social media, and kind or forgotten about it as my life got busier and I was dealing with my final year and bachelors degree graduation. I am glad I’m back at it, my skin looks and feels so clean after using these strips, and I’ve been loving these tea tree infused ones I got from TK Maxx.

In terms of food, I haven’t been loving anything different this month and honestly haven’t gone out of my way to trying new items. But! for this month I am more active, and feel very energized and ready to go try different things in the market!

  1. Great post! I also recently heard about Mario Badesco but I haven’t tried again. I will add it to the list.
The Body Shop masks are great too! I love the Japanese Matcha Tea Face Mask so much.
